چکیده
One of the fundamental problems in massive multiple input output (MMIMO) systems based on frequency division duplexing (FDD) mode is acquisition channel state information at base station (BS). Indeed, these systems, reciprocity uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) channels not applicable. Thus, users are supposed, after having estimated their subchannels, to feedback them BS. Since size be returned proportional number antennas that very large, then we witness an excess for each user. It therefore essential find a way reduce this quantity, which affects overall performance system. Efficient Downlink Channel Probing and Uplink Feedback in FDD Massive MIMO Systems
Massive Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (massive MIMO) is a variant of multi-user MIMO in which the number of antennas at each Base Station (BS) is very large and typically much larger than the number of users simultaneously served. Massive MIMO can be implemented with Time Division Duplexing (TDD) or Frequency Division Duplexing (FDD) operation. FDD massive MIMO systems are particularly desirab...

In this paper, we propose a novel method for efficient implementation of a massive Multiple-Input MultipleOutput (massive MIMO) system with Frequency Division Duplexing (FDD) operation. Our main objective is to reduce the large overhead incurred by Downlink (DL) common training and Uplink (UL) feedback needed to obtain channel state information (CSI) at the base station. Our proposed scheme rel...
متن کاملGraph Theory Based Approach to Users Grouping and Downlink Scheduling in FDD Massive MIMO
Massive MIMO is considered as one of the key enablers of the next generation 5G networks. With a high number of antennas at the BS, both spectral and energy efficiencies can be improved. Unfortunately, the downlink channel estimation overhead scales linearly with the number of antenna. This does not create complications in Time Division Duplex (TDD) systems since the channel estimate of the upl...
متن کاملA Graph Theoretic Approach for Training Overhead Reduction in FDD Massive MIMO Systems
The overheads associated with feedback-based channel acquisition can greatly compromise the achievable rates of FDD based massive MIMO systems. Indeed, downlink (DL) training and uplink (UL) feedback overheads scale linearly with the number of base station (BS) antennas, in sharp contrast to TDDbased massive MIMO, where a single UL pilot trains the whole BS array. In this work, we propose a gra...

To acquire the maximal array gain and mitigate the impact of pilot contamination, the downlink precoding algorithm on Max-SINR criterion was investigated and improved for Massive MIMO system. The objective function assured to maximize the utilization rate of the transmission power under the condition that SINR is not lower than the desired threshold. The Lagrangian function was deduced accordin...
